HAFFORD TEAM

Harlene Simmonds

Owner

I was raised on a farm between Radisson and Hafford.  I attended Hafford Central School from Grades 1 to 12.  In Grade 7 my parents quit farming, moved to Hafford and I became a “Town Kid”.  I graduated from Saskatoon Business College, then worked for the Royal Bank of Canada in Saskatoon and then when I married Rick Simmonds and moved to our present farm, I  transferred to the Royal Bank in North Battleford.    I worked there until I had our 1st child.  Together Rick and I started what is now AgriTeam and the rest is history.   We have 3 children, Dallas (Mallory) and children Warner, Parker and Rachel; Lindsey (Lance) Walker and children Liam, Isabella, Connor and Lainey; Tennille (Brandon) Hall and children Scarlett, Savannah and Heidi.

“Born and raised on a farm south of the small community of Mayfair, Sk. I attended Mayfair School up to Grade 4 before transferring to Hafford, where I completed my Grade 12. Following Graduation, I attended the University of Saskatchewan for one year then continued my studies at Lakeland College Vermillion. I completed my Diploma in Animal Science, then carried on to get my Diploma in Agribusiness. I started working for AgriTeam Services Inc. in the summer of 2013 as their summer student, and now I am happy to be working full time as their Agronomist and Sales Person. I couldn’t ask for a better company and group of employees to work with.”

“I grew up North of Blaine Lake, Sk., on a mixed family farm consisting of cattle and grain, raising both commercial and purebred Charolais cattle. My wife and I, along with our son are the fifth generation to be a part of the family farm operations.  In 2016 I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Degree in Agribusiness, and soon after started working here at AgriTeam Services, where I strive every day to learn more about agriculture for both myself and our customers.  My hope is that I can portray my passion for agriculture through to our customers and help them further their farm and business. I continue to look forward to dealing with all the great people in the agriculture industry.”

I grew up south of Mayfair close to our family farm. I attended Mayfair school till grade 6 and transferred to Hafford in grade 7 where I graduated grade 12 in 2008. I started working in Hafford out of high school, took my 1A driving coarse and drove truck for 12 years. Helping out on the farm I started my cattle business and ranch with my parents. I met my wife Breanne in 2015 and married in 2023. We welcomed our first daughter Rylynn in 2020 and second child Brian in 2023. In the spring of 2024 it was time for a career change and I joined AgriTeam.
